Front Hub Bearing Replacement

Model: Ford Transit MK 7 - Years 2006-2014

To replace the front wheel bearing, lift the vehicle on the ramp and remove the wheel on which you will perform the repair; then remove the brake caliper along with its bracket; take off the brake disc and proceed to unscrew the fastening bolts of the hub to the front suspension and the central fastening nut of the driveshaft (before removing the nut, tap on it to free the driveshaft). Complete the disassembly of the steering box end and the speed sensor; extract the shock absorber from its seat on the hub and disassemble the end of the suspension control arm. Once the hub assembly is on the workbench, remove the circlip and, using a press, extract the old bearing and insert the new one. Proceed in reverse for the installation back on the vehicle.
