Replacement of Stabiliser Bar Links

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Anti-roll bar

The stabiliser bar or anti-roll bar is connected to the front suspension via rods known as links, which have spherical joints at their ends: these joints tend to wear out and become noisy. Their replacement is extremely simple; just unscrew the fastening nuts of the ball joint stem while keeping the shaft fixed using a hex key (to unscrew the part attached to the shock absorber, the front wheel must be removed); once the link is removed, simply replace it with the new one and tighten the nuts in the same manner.

How to Install Roof Bars on a Fiat 500L

Learn how to fit universal roof bars on a Fiat 500L. These bars are used on vehicles with or without roof rails. Assemble the roof bar kit (as shown in the video) with bars adjusted to the width of the vehicle (measure with a tape measure). Position the brackets at both ends of the doors on the vehicle's original roof rails. Once the anchoring bracket width is set, tighten the bolts with a butterfly nut (if a lock is present) until fully secured to the roof rails. Fit safety caps on both sides.
