First, extract the emergency key, then use a small screwdriver to pry at the junction between the remote and its cover to remove it. Under the cover, you will find a battery that you can extract and replace with a new one, ensuring the positive terminal is facing upwards.

Reattach the back cover and reinsert the emergency key.
