How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Ford Ecosport?

To replace the timing belt on a Ford Ecosport, open the bonnet to access the left side of the engine block. There will be plastic covers that need to be removed to access the pulleys. By loosening the nut that secures the central pin of the tensioner roller, the tension on the belt will be reduced, allowing you to slide it out of its housing. Once the belt is removed, install a new one and refit all the parts that were previously removed.
