Replacing the Exhaust Manifold Gasket

A very important step before applying the new gasket is to clean its seating: you must clean both the cylinder head side and the manifold side to remove any dirt and deposits that could compromise the adhesion and therefore the sealing of the gasket. Once cleaning is complete, insert the new gasket aligning it with the dowel pins, then insert the exhaust manifold and tighten the fixing nuts using a torque wrench and following a cross-tightening pattern. After installation, start the engine and ensure there are no leaks.
