Before applying the new gasket, it is essential to clean the gasket seating thoroughly, both on the manifold side and the cylinder head side, to remove any dirt and deposits that could compromise the gasket's adhesion and sealing; then insert the new gasket, aligning it with the dowel pins without applying gasket sealant, fit the exhaust manifold, the spacers, and tighten the fixing nuts in a cross pattern using a torque wrench. After starting the engine, ensure there are no leaks.
