Replacing the Intake Manifold Gasket

Before applying the new gasket to the intake manifold, thoroughly clean the gasket seating on both the cylinder head and manifold sides: remove any dirt and deposits that could compromise the gasket's adhesion and sealing, leading to leaks that negatively affect engine performance and fuel consumption. Once cleaning is complete, apply the new gasket to the intake manifold without using gasket sealant, align the manifold on the cylinder head, and tighten the fixing bolts using a torque wrench.
