Operation: How do you replace the swing arm on the Ford Escape?

In order to replace the wishbone on the Ford Escape, you need to go and lift the car so that the corresponding wheel is not in contact with the floor. After the vehicle has therefore been lifted, it will be necessary to slacken the bolts which fix the wheel and completely remove the latter, gaining access to its rear part. Once the inner wheel arch cover has been removed, the two bolts holding the swing arm can be loosened, completely removing it and replacing it with a new one. After the replacement, the wheel and wheel arch can be refitted.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
