How to Change the Front Brake Pads on a Ford Focus

This brief video tutorial shows how to replace the front brake pads on a second-generation Ford Focus, produced from 2004 to 2011. First, lift the front of the car and remove the wheel, then remove the clip in front of the caliper and unscrew the two rear bolts of the brake caliper. At this point, you can remove the caliper along with the old pads. Before fitting the new brake pads, you will need to retract the caliper piston using a clamp. Once this is done, follow the reverse procedure to complete the job.
