In this tutorial we can see how to replace the shift cable in the Ford Fusion. To do this, we will only need a flat tip screwdriver and an 8mm wrench. First of all we open the bonnet and identify the end of the cable placed right above the gearbox, then we release the indicated clip and pull it towards us. Then let's move inside the passenger compartment, disengage both the base of the headset and the frame of the center console and remove the second end of the cable. At this point we can extract it from the housing, insert the spare and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
