How to replace the remote control battery in a Ford Expedition key

Before starting the procedure for replacing the remote control battery in a Ford Expedition car key, make sure you have the correct model of battery to insert, in this case a 3V flat type CR 2450 battery. Take the remote control and first remove the metal key from the body: to do this, simply press the button at the upper end of the remote control (short side) and simultaneously pull outwards. Once the key has been removed, you can use the tip of the same to leverage the edge of the body and thus obtain its opening. At this point proceed to extract the exhausted battery and replace it and then close the body.
