How to Replace the Key Fob Battery in a Ford Expedition

Before starting the procedure to replace the key fob battery in a Ford Expedition, make sure you have the correct battery model, which is a flat CR 2450 3V battery. Take the key fob and first extract the metal key from the fob: to do this, press the button located at the top end of the fob (short side) and simultaneously pull it out. Once the key is removed, use the tip of the key to pry open the edge of the fob. At this point, proceed to remove the old battery and replace it, then close the fob.
