Instructions for Removing Rear Drums

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

Position the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the rear wheels: the drum has two threaded holes into which two bolts should be inserted and tightened to act as extractors (progressively tighten both bolts); during the extraction phase, with the bolts under tension, it is advisable to give the drum a few taps with a hammer to help dislodge it. Proceed very gradually to avoid the drum getting stuck and making removal particularly difficult; do not spray any penetrating oil as it may contaminate the brake shoes.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
