Replacing Door Glass

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

To remove the door glass, you first need to take off the trim panel (remove the relevant fixing screws and unclip the pressure clips along the edges). Once the panel is removed, take out the speaker and adjust the window lift mechanism to align the glass fixing clips with the access holes for the socket, then loosen the pins that compress the clips and hold the glass in place. Once the glass is freed, pull it upwards to extract it from its seat and proceed in reverse for the installation: slide it into the guides and push it into the clips, then tighten the fixing pins and reassemble everything that was previously removed.
