Replacement of Wheel Side Driveshaft Boot

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 4, Be91, MK 4, MK IV - Years 1996-2002

To replace the driveshaft's CV joint boot on the wheel side, it is necessary to extract the driveshaft from the hub and then the CV joint from the driveshaft itself. Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the front wheel. Mark the security indentation on the driveshaft nut and undo it. Remove the brake caliper along with its bracket and the brake disc. Detach the track rod end from the hub support and the bolts securing the shock absorber to the hub support to pull out the driveshaft. Then, remove the boot, locate the circlip that secures the CV joint to the driveshaft, and open it to extract the CV joint. Remove the old boot and fit the new one, generously grease the CV joint, and secure the new boot with clamps. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
