How to Replace the Key Battery on Ford S-Max

This short video tutorial demonstrates how to replace the battery (CR2450) in the remote key for a second-generation Ford S-Max. This guide is also applicable to other Ford vehicles produced after 2016 with Keyless-Go 3 remotes. First, extract the physical emergency key from the remote. Next, use the extracted key to lever off the back cover of the remote and remove it. You will then see the old battery that needs replacing; swap it for a new one and finally reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
