This short video tutorial demonstrates how to replace the battery (CR2450) in the remote key for a second-generation Ford S-Max. This guide is also applicable to other Ford vehicles produced after 2016 with Keyless-Go 3 remotes. First, extract the physical emergency key from the remote.

Next, use the extracted key to lever off the back cover of the remote and remove it. You will then see the old battery that needs replacing; swap it for a new one and finally reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
