Replacement of Front Brake Pads

Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018

Lift the vehicle on suitable car stands and remove the front wheel; use a screwdriver to lever between the disc and the caliper to retract the piston slightly, detach the external retaining spring of the pads, remove the protective caps from the caliper fixing pins and take them out to complete the removal of the caliper and extract the old pads; clean the sliding plates and the caliper fixing pins (it is also useful to apply copper grease), insert the new pads, reattach the spring and tighten the caliper fixing pins.
