To remove the headlight switch on a Ford F-250, detach the panel located at the bottom of the steering column; this will allow you to unscrew the screws underneath it, which will enable you to remove the left panel, inside of which is the switch. Now, disconnect the connector at the back of the switch so that it can be completely pulled out of its housing.

You can now insert the new switch into its place, connecting it to the connector and reassembling all the previously removed panels.
