Replacing the Remote Battery on the Ford Ecosport

The remote for the Ford Ecosport is powered by a battery that depletes over time with use. When this happens, it needs to be replaced as soon as possible; remove the emergency key from the remote by pressing the button at the base, turn the remote with the logo facing up, and use a plastic lever to lift the cover, also using the lever on the sides to detach it. Now you have access to the battery compartment, which you will remove using a thin tool and replace with a new CR2450 as quickly as possible to avoid losing the remote's programming. Reassemble everything by reversing the steps.
