We are doing a job that at first glance seems simple, but that no one ever does: cleaning the grilles of the Ford Flex. First, we remove the plastic covers of the windshield wipers so that we can remove the screw that holds it to the grille. Lift the hood. The grille is attached to the body by 6 plastic screws. After you have removed them, remove the grille by lifting the rubber cover on the sides. Pay attention to the windshield washer tube and the metal clip in the center. Remove it gently. Remove the water collection tray, where there are two rubber clips and the lower part of the engine protection grille underneath. You will see that there is dirt underneath the tray. Collect it and clean the parts. In this specific case, this dirt was responsible for the formation of moisture inside. Other dirt has also accumulated on the driver's side. After you have cleaned all the debris, we can proceed to reassemble the cleaned parts. Reinstall the lower part of the grille on the driver's side, with its metal clip, then the tray, making sure that the rubber clips snap into place. Reinstall the grille with its 6 plastic clips, remembering that it must be inserted under the rubber side protections. Reattach the windshield washer tube and then put the windshield wipers back in place. Cover the screw with the plastic cover. The job is done.
