To replace the cabin filter on the Ford Fusion, you need to detach the rivet that secures the protection panel on the passenger side footwell: once this panel has been removed, you can locate the cover of the filter box, which can be detached to access the underlying filter.

The old filter can now be extracted from its housing so that the new spare part can be inserted; then close everything by replacing the cover and the corresponding side panel.
