Guide to Removing the Rear Door Panel and Replacing the Window Lift Motor

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Power window motor

Using a Torx screwdriver, unscrew the screws located behind the opening lever. Remove the window control panel and disconnect the connector at the back.
Dislodge the cover on the handle and unscrew the other two Torx screws, and the panel will be free.
Remove the speaker and take out the insulation to access the window lift mechanism. Unscrew the screws holding it in place and extract it.
If you only want to repair the damaged part, continue disassembling as shown in the video.
Once maintenance is complete, reassemble the mechanism in its place, reapply the insulation, and screw the panel back onto the door.

The video features a 2001 Ford Focus, but the procedure is similar for other vehicles.
