How to Refill the Coolant in a Ford Escape

In this video, learn how to change the antifreeze in a Ford Escape MK3. The coolant is orange, specifically for this type of North American vehicles, and from the Ford brand. You can purchase pre-diluted coolant or buy it pure and dilute it with water. It is advisable to use a funnel with a flexible neck to fit it under the windshield wiper hood: due to the position of the reservoir, a rigid neck funnel may cause you to spill a good amount of fluid, leading to a buildup of liquid inside the engine compartment, which, don't forget, is boxed in below. Pour the coolant and check the level of the reservoir. When you reach the maximum, shake the hose and carefully close the cap.
