In this video, you can see where the airbag control module is located in the Ford Transit van, useful if you need to remove it due to a fault. As shown, it is positioned beneath the centre tunnel, right near the handbrake.

To access it, first recline the seats, then unscrew all the bolts indicated with a Torx T30 key and disengage the upper plastic. Once done, unscrew the mounting bolts of the seat bracket with a T50 key, lift the metal cover, and you will have access to the airbag module.
