Replacing the Remote Key Battery

If pressing the lock and unlock buttons does nothing, it is likely that the remote battery is flat: to replace it, open the remote to access the battery compartment; use a lever at the joint line of the two halves of the remote to separate them and access the battery compartment; then remove the old battery, clean the contacts, and insert the new battery; take the opportunity to remove the circuit board and check the condition of the micro switches before reassembling everything.
