How to Fit the Spare Wheel on a Ford Focus

In this video tutorial, see how to fit the spare wheel on a Ford Focus in case of a flat tyre. First, position the car on a flat surface; this ensures the jack is placed correctly. Get inside the vehicle and pull the handbrake, turn off the engine, and engage first gear. Open the boot and remove the floor panel, take out the polystyrene spacer, unscrew the fastening nut, and extract the spare wheel. Next, unscrew the nut and take out the toolbox, then disconnect the towing eye and the jack handle. Using the adapter supplied with the vehicle, loosen the wheel locking nut; the next step is to lift the car with the hydraulic jack by attaching the jack head to the lifting point indicated by an arrow. Use the handle to raise the vehicle until the wheel is off the ground. Completely unscrew the wheel nuts and then remove the wheel from its seat, placing it under the vehicle. Install the spare wheel and tighten the nuts. Remove the wheel and then lower the vehicle to the ground.
