Let's see how to make the settings of our Ford Focus MK4 work best: by clicking on the button located on the right side of the steering wheel, the first option is the onboard computer, the reset of values, configuring the type of display, with all the different titles (use the left arrow to exit). We have configured computer 1 where it shows us the kilometers per liter, the distance traveled, the kilometers remaining until the next refueling, and the instantaneous consumption. If we click with the left button, we go into the speed options (customized in this case with the label Ford Performance). By pressing the right button, we can choose the different screens to display. For "eco driving," if we accelerate, it shows us the consumption. Furthermore, there is assisted driving with the view of hazards in front of us; then it shows that there are no audio sources available at the moment, nor connected phones. Then we have the vehicle settings. By clicking with the right button, we go to the submenu "information" where we find various options. In the "display" submenu, we find options such as language, unit of measurement (kilometers or miles), temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit), and tire pressure unit of measurement. In "assisted driving," we find features like BLIS (blind-spot indication on the side mirrors), collision assistant, recognition of road signs, and lane-keeping. All these options have their own submenus to customize our driving modes to the fullest.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
