How to reset settings on a Ford Focus? Reset the settings using the instrument cluster ignition. Turn on the ignition with the dedicated key, press the clutch pedal and the accelerator pedal simultaneously. Wait for the settings reset to start (check the instrument cluster display). Press the brake and accelerator pedals and wait 20 seconds until the reset is complete. Turn off the instrument cluster with the key. Turn the instrument cluster back on and test the functionality of the settings. Use the menu to check the various settings.
