How to Replace the Fuel Filter on the Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi?

In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the diesel filter on the Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi, a very simple and quick operation. To do this, in addition to the correct replacement part, you will need a 6 mm socket spanner. First, wait for the engine to cool completely, then open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover. Next, unscrew the fastening bolts of the right metal bracket, remove it, and disconnect the fuel pipes. Finally, unscrew the outer ring to open the filter housing, extract it, and fit the replacement part by following the reverse procedure.
