How to Replace the Key Battery in a Ford Mondeo

To independently replace the battery inside the remote of your Ford Mondeo second series (2000-2007), follow these steps. First, take the remote, press the metal button located at the top of the cover, and pull out the emergency physical key. Next, use a standard flathead screwdriver (preferably small) to open the key fob. Open it and locate the exhausted battery. Finally, remove it and replace it with a new button battery (CR2032).
