In this new mini guide for all Ford Mondeo Mk2 owners, you will learn how to replace the key battery independently. Before you start, you need to get a small to medium flat-head screwdriver. Then, take the key and locate a small slot in the centre of the back cover. Insert the tip of the screwdriver and apply a slight outward push to detach the top part of the key. Next, open the cover and proceed with replacing the battery. Finally, correctly reassemble the cover.
