How do you replace the key battery on a Ford Mondeo? In this video, learn how to replace the battery. Take your remote control and press the button on the back (pry between the two parts of the key cover). Pry until the plastics separate from the cover; extract the damaged battery with a screwdriver (get a new one of the same size and voltage). Reassemble the two halves of the remote key cover until you hear the locking click. Check the correct operation of the remote by testing the door locking and unlocking buttons.
