Let's see how to change the fuel filter on a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi MK2, using a syringe as a siphon. First, clean off all debris with a can of compressed air. Remove the connectors and pull out the filter. In the meantime, obtain the filter, which can be found on Amazon with code B00AYHJB68 at a price of £27.87, including delivery. Refit the new filter, reconnecting the electrical connectors. Tighten the screws to 8 Nm. Now fill the filter using a syringe; it will take several pumps (in this case, 14 were needed). Now try to start the vehicle. All done!
