After changing the engine oil on your Ford Focus third generation, produced from 2011 to 2018, you will also need to reset the service light. This brief tutorial shows you how to perform this operation step by step.

First, turn on the ignition without starting the engine, then press and hold the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously. You will see a notification on the display indicating that the reset is in progress, so continue to hold the pedals for about twenty seconds until the reset is complete.
