How to Replace the Remote Battery on the Ford Fiesta?

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 6, MK 6, MK VI - Years 2008-2017

Before starting, gather a small flat screwdriver and a new battery. Looking at the back of the remote, you will notice a slot where you should insert the screwdriver to lever off the mechanical part of the remote, which is the key blade. Take the screwdriver again and use it to lever the side slots. This will open the remote casing in two and reveal the battery. Remove it and insert a new battery of the same type, then close the casing and reposition the key blade.
