Removing the Rear Bonnet Lock

Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018

To remove the rear bonnet lock, first remove the plastic cover that covers the inside of the tailgate; once the bonnet is open, remove the handle covers to access the underlying fixing pins (10 mm socket). After removing the pins, pry along the edges of the plastic panel to release the clips and completely remove the cover; at this point, disconnect the connector from the lock and unscrew the three Torx screws that secure it to the body to complete the removal.
