- Years 1996-2002 If it happens that while pulling the front bonnet opening lever from inside the passenger compartment, the lock does not unlock and the bonnet does not open, you can try to have the lock open directly by acting on the control mechanism itself: through the grille of the front cover intercept the sheath of the lock command cable and, following it, identify the lever that holds the lock closed; at this point, use a screwdriver to press the lever and release the lock in order to open it and allow the front hood to be opened without having to break or damage anything.
