Today we will see the main instructions useful for disassembling and replacing the timing belt and crankshaft pulley of the Ford Focus 1.6. First, we lift the vehicle and start by removing the right front wheel, then also removing the fender; then we disconnect the V-belt, first loosening the tensioner, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the central bolt of the crankshaft pulley, in order to remove it and replace it if necessary with the new one; we remove the distribution cover to proceed with the replacement of the timing belt!

First, release the bonnet using the appropriate lever to lift it and secure it with the prop rod. Then, remove the upper rear cover of the engine, where the tops of the spark plugs are located.
