Replacing the Dashboard Bulbs on the Ford Transit

Model: Ford Transit MK 4 - Years 1986-1994

Let's see how to replace the dashboard lights on the Ford Transit. Using a cross-head screwdriver, unscrew the three screws, two below and one above, that secure the plastic covers of the steering column. Once removed, disconnect the electrical connectors and unscrew the four screws that secure the instrument panel frame. Now, unscrew the screws that fix the dial to the frame so that you can pull it out, disconnect the speedometer tube while leaving the cable attached. This gives you access to the back of the dial where the two bulbs are located, which you will remove by turning the socket ninety degrees to replace them with new ones. Check their proper functioning and reassemble everything by reversing the steps.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
