How to Change the Gear Lever Gaiter on a Ford Kuga

Due to the friction generated by gear changes, the gaiter covering the gear lever may deteriorate and even tear: it is very easy to obtain the replacement part and carry out the replacement; to remove the old gaiter, simply unclip it from the frame at the base of the gaiter and then slide it off the gear lever after unscrewing the knob; take care to transfer the plastic insert that operates the reverse mechanism from the old gaiter to the new one, then proceed in reverse for installation, clipping the frame back onto the base and reattaching the knob.
