In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the fuel door on the Ford Fusion, a very simple and quick operation. To do this, you will only need a flathead screwdriver. Start by opening the fuel door itself, then remove any label placed on the inner edge of the support. Next, insert the tip of the screwdriver into the indicated slot, pry, and lift the retaining clip. At this point, you can pull the fuel door outward and separate it from the base. To install the replacement, simply push it firmly; it will snap into place automatically.
