How to Replace the Diesel Filter on the Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

Lift the bonnet and remove the bolts securing the filter at the top right of the engine bay. Now, you can disconnect the connectors and hoses attached to it, being careful and using a cloth to avoid making a mess. Insert the new filter and connect all necessary cables and hoses. Now, using an adapter, use a manual pump to expel air until diesel starts to flow out, then quickly insert the cap onto this opening and reposition the cover with the bolts. Finally, start the vehicle and let it run for a few seconds before turning it off, repeating this process about 5 times.
