How to Adjust the Handbrake on a Ford Fiesta Mk7

Start by removing the gear lever from its housing. To do this, unscrew the knob and then remove the plastic cover. Next, remove the lower dashboard to access the connectors for the handbrake and the cigarette lighter, and disconnect them. Continue by unlocking the handbrake cover and pulling it out to access the adjustment lever. Adjust the handbrake and insert the arm to test its strength. Finally, reassemble all the parts previously removed and reconnect the connectors.
