Replacing the battery and reading card of a 2018 Ford Transit key is a very simple operation. The first thing to do is to use a flathead screwdriver to open the back cover of the remote control, so you can remove the CR2032 battery. Once the battery is removed, you can insert a small screwdriver in the central screw to unscrew it, thus gaining access to the key's motherboard. The second thing to do is to open the cover of the new key and insert the battery inside, then open the shell to insert the reading card. Close everything and test its functionality.
