Replacing the battery and the circuit board of a 2018 Ford Transit key is a very simple operation. The first step is to use a flathead screwdriver to open the rear cover of the remote, allowing you to remove the CR2032 battery. Once the battery is removed, insert a small screwdriver into the central screw to unscrew it, giving you access to the key's motherboard. The second step is to open the cover of the new key and insert the battery inside, then split the shell in two to insert the circuit board. Reassemble everything and test its operation.
