Locate the release on your key fob and remove the internal metal key. Use a flat screwdriver to gently pry open the key cover. Remove the old, depleted battery, taking care not to damage the internal contacts.

Insert the new battery, ensuring it is the correct type (usually CR2025 or CR2032 3V) and positioned correctly with the positive side facing up. Close the key cover, ensuring it is sealed properly. After replacing the battery, test the remote to ensure it works correctly.

If the key does not function, you may need to reprogram the remote or check if the battery has been inserted correctly.
