The replacement of the gear knob of the Ford Focus is done by holding the leather cover of the gear lever still: by keeping this cover still, you will need to grab the knob and rotate it counterclockwise, so that it can be removed from its housing. Once the old knob has been removed, you can position the new one on the end of the lever and screw it in; when it is correctly screwed onto the end of the lever, make sure it is securely in place and does not cause any issues during gear changes.
