These short and simple steps will show us how to deactivate the 4x4 traction of the Ford Escape; however, it is recommended not to deactivate the all-wheel drive to avoid compromising the safety and stability of the vehicle during driving. First, lift the vehicle and start disconnecting the electrical connector of the 4x4 traction sensor; then proceed to modify the connector to permanently deactivate the all-wheel drive system, as shown in the video. At this point, restore the wiring if you want to re-enable the all-wheel drive, following the video until the end!
