Today, we will go through the steps to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob of a Ford Focus. First, take the key fob and use a thin, pointed object to pry open the plastic rear cover.

Then, remove the battery found inside, as shown in the video. Now, install the new battery of the correct type and with the same specifications (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it in the correct orientation and test the functionality of the buttons, ensuring the engine starts.
