How to remove the inner door panel of a Ford Mustang S550

In this video, we can see how to remove the inner panel of the front door of a Ford Mustang S550; an essential operation if we want to update the audio components or replace a faulty switch. We will start by removing the window switch housing, lifting the rear part with a plastic lever, removing the clips, and disconnecting the electrical socket. Behind it, we will find a bolt that we will remove: now let's move to the handle, where we will remove the trim that is positioned behind it. By holding the handle open, we will be able to remove the small piece of plastic covering the screw that we need to remove. At the bottom of the panel, we will find two more screws. Now we can start levering on the outer part of the panel to remove the clips, being careful not to break them; once we have separated the panel from the door, we remove the electrical connectors, then holding the door panel, we use pointed pliers to press the tabs on the door handle cable, pass it through the small opening and then remove the eyelet from the handle. Now we can set aside the door panel.
