In this video, see how to remove the front door panel of a Ford Mustang S550; an essential operation if you want to upgrade the audio components or replace a faulty switch. Start by removing the window switch housing by lifting the rear part with a plastic lever, then remove the clips and disconnect the electrical connector.

Behind it, you will find a bolt that you will remove. Now go to the handle, where you will remove the cover located behind it. With the handle open, you can remove the small plastic piece covering the screw that needs to be removed.

At the bottom of the panel, you will find two more screws. Now you can start to lever the outer part of the panel to remove the clips, being careful not to break them.

Once you have separated the panel from the door, remove the electrical connectors, then while holding the door panel, use needle-nose pliers to press the tabs on the door handle cable, pass it through the small opening, and then remove the loop from the handle.

Now you can set the door panel aside.
