How to Remove the Handle of a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004
Part: Handle

Want to remove the handle from your Ford Focus? It's a simple operation; see in the video how to do it. Use a plastic spatula to detach the triangular inner door trim of the mirror, along with the corresponding clip. Unscrew the Torx screw with a screwdriver located in the panel near the handle, then remove the handle cover plate and unscrew the attached screws. At this point, unscrew the screws around the perimeter of the door panel, detach the cover around the window switch buttons and their clips. Pull off the door panel, disconnect the wires for the window closure and speakers. Remove the external handle by unscrewing the screws inside the door. Once the door handle is replaced, reassemble everything in reverse order.
